Guide
Doug is ONLY, and ONLY good in bushy, closed maps. Extra Mustard gadget is the best because he does so much damage and gives almost a free kill. If you still want to play the other, play it in duo or trio showdown to give your ally maximum healh, even if it's not the best gadget. Fast food star power is useless, because a brawler with many health doesn't need to have a lot of speed because a tank already has some speed boost in their bundle, so don't waste 2000 coins on a 3 seconds speed boost. Even if the other star power (Self Service) is better, it's not also the best one, but still choose it. The +1 gadget gear is very great since he has an op gadget, and the shield is probably the best one also with the speed gear, which makes him go faster in bushes because he is good in bushy maps. (also better to have a speed boost on bushes to have a simple speed boost after 3 seconds, and do NOT use the vision gear) Doug's basic attack hasn't lot of range, but medium damage, so do not run straight to the opponent, and wait until the right moment if you want to damage your enemie. Doug's super, instead, is different. When activating him, a hot dog shows up on your head and lasts for some seconds until he goes away, so use the super only if you are about to die or you have no more health, so you are sure to revive if needed. You can drop the hot dog on your ally, which has the same mecanic. So, Doug's super can be used ONLY at the RIGHT moment, do not waste him since he does 0 damage.
Game Modes

Showdown
Solo Showdown is very good for Doug, because some maps have many bushes in the center and showdown uses to have lot of walls, which doug can hide. Also with the power cubes, if he has lot of them, he is litteraly unbeatable.

Brawl Ball
Doug isn't a very meta brawler, but there are still godd gamemodes for him: Brawl Ball. Brawl Ball is only good for him at closed maps, since Brawl Ball isn't a very opened gamemode (for the map size). Pressurizing the enemies at the right moment and with his tanky health, he can be good in this gamemode.

Bounty
Ok, so Bounty isn't good AT ALL for Doug, but I putted it here because of ONE MAP: Snake Prairie. When you have occasion to play this Bounty Map, you can absolutely play Doug. This map is full of bushes, and he can finish anyone with his destroying attack, super and crazy health here.

Duo Showdown
Duo Showdown has probably the same mecanic as Solo Showdown, but you are 2 versus 4 other teams of 2. You can work pretty same here as Solo Showdown, but the ally you have can be also pretty well because you can heal him and in some center bushy maps, he can work well.
Works Well With

Buzz
They are two tanks (just they have good health), and Buzz doing high damage but also Doug healing him, it's almost unstoppable. Doug and Buzz are two brawlers with not crazy range, so they work good in bushy and closed maps, especially in Showdown.
